Spend your days surfing, diving, snorkeling or simply relaxing in a hammock on the beach at this solar-powered eco resort. It features an on-site restaurant and traditional bungalow accommodations. Maqai Beach Eco Resort is located in front of several surfing breaks on Qamea Island, with tropical mountains, rainforest and white sand beaches. Transfers from Taveuni Airport can be arranged. Continental and cooked breakfasts are available each morning and there is a daily set menu for lunch and dinner. Freshly caught fish is often available and the resort’s chickens and organic garden are used for produce, along with the local farmer’s market. Surfing trips, diving courses, fishing trips, boat hire, hiking trips and non-motorized water sports are available. Beginner surfing lessons with an experienced private teacher can be arranged. Located directly on the beach, each bungalow at Eco Resort Maqai Beach includes a front patio with deck chairs that overlook the ocean. All bungalows offer a private private bathroom with a shower.
